Adult Education



LIFESPAN provides educational classes for adults 55 and older. Educational classes are held quarterly at different churches in the Buckhead area, with over 20 courses for the mind, body and spirit taught by volunteer retired professors and local experts. Peer interaction and a daily lunch add to the fun of the Thursday sessions that run from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Additional Adult Education activities include: Plant Exchange, Magazine and Book Exchange, Knife Sharpening and Small Appliance Repair, Blood Pressure Check, wellness education and screenings.

$48 per quarter or $8 per single session
$7 for lunch

Scholarships are available.
Newcomers are welcome to attend a day of classes free.

Bring a New Friend for Free!
If you bring a friend to experience Lunch n? Learn for the first time, we will waive the daily registration fee. The daily registration fee for Lunch n? Learn is $8. Lunch is extra. You will need to reserve the lunch a week in advance and we will have a name tag for your guest. This is for individuals who have never been to Lunch n? Learn. Welcome anytime!
OUR THANK YOU If he or she decides to register for a session of classes you will receive coupon for $20 off your registration for the next session of Lunch n? Learn. We want as many people to know about Lunch n? Learn as possible and you are our best advocate. Registration for an entire session is $48.
